San Donato Milanese, 26 November 2015 - Eni will be taking part in the 25th JOB&Orienta, the largest national exhibition on the topics of education and training. The exhibition and conference (Verona Fair, 26 to 28 November) offers an opportunity for dialogue between visitors and the professional world of work, education and training, to provide young people with guidance through information and events. Eni's contribution to the fair includes a programme of initiatives and events targeted at guests who have decided to undertake energy-related studies.

The programme begins with the event 'OIL FOR BRAIN - energy, talent, opportunities'. At the Giuseppe Verdi Auditorium (Thursday, 26 November, h. 10:30-11:30), the geologist, journalist and scholar Mario Tozzi will present, together with his guests, a fascinating series of stories in the fields of science, research and technological innovation.

The goal of Job&Orienta is to give students advice about a variety of possible career paths. An interactive stand will allow guests to try out an immersive virtual reality experience through Eni's professional training tool, the Operator Training System. Through a visual tracking system and an Oculus Rift mask, users will be able to virtually move around one of Eni's industrial plants, simulating operational and emergency scenarios. At the Eni stand guests will be able to watch a theatrical show called 'Come una moneta nel frullatore' by Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei, an institution that specialises in training and popularising science, and it will provide interview preparation for a job interview. Other contributions to the event will include video testimonials by young Eni employees, and the chance to interact with the you@eni application, which offers an overview of the professional figures that exist within Eni.

The schedule of events has a variety of presentations and interactive workshops. The event 'Le faremo sapere' is targeted at young guests wishing to know more about how to access the labour market. Employees who work as recruiters in the Eni Corporate University will focus on the abilities evaluated during aptitude tests. Students will be invited to take part in simulations and group discussions on patterns of behaviour. The aim is to encourage young guests to think about the skills that complement particular professional jobs, to demonstrate the role of different evaluation tools (CVs, interviews, tests, role-playing), and to help attendants reflect on their personal characteristics.

Eni is an integrated company that operates throughout the energy supply chain in 83 countries, and boasts more than 84,000 employees whose skills range from offshore exploration to refining and distribution.
