ENI S.P.A San Donato Milanese (Milan), 24 November 2014 - Eni and Skangass signed a Small Scale LNG ("SSLNG") agreement in order to supply Skangass' customer base in Scandinavia with liquefied natural gas for two years starting from January 2015.
Under the agreement, Eni will deliver to Skangass a total amount of over 4.6 TWh of LNG which will be shipped by small-medium size vessels from the Fluxys' terminal in Zeebrugge, in Belgium.
The agreement further strengthens Eni's gas marketing activity in Europe and its drive to develop the SSLNG market in the context of the new European regulatory framework regarding the targets on emissions' reduction.
Eni is actively promoting the SSLNG business and during the first 10 months of 2014 Eni has already supplied more than 0.3 TWh of SSLNG to trucks for industrial and mobility uses throughout Europe.
