SEATTLE, WA. - Entercom Communications (NYSE:ETM) Entercom Seattle's 99.9 KISW, 'The Rock of Seattle,' received a Radio Mercury Award Nomination for 'Most Innovative Use of Radio' while pioneering a unique radio event titled 'Live Day.' On December 2, 2015, KISW's morning show 'BJ and Migs,' and its afternoon show, 'The Men's Room,' ran completely live, including all commercials, songs, announcers, background music, and sound effects.

'We wanted to get back to the true essence of radio,' said Entercom Vice President of Programming & Operations, Dave Richards. 'This award nomination proves there is still a place in the market for people who truly love the entertainment value of radio.'
