Beaumont, Texas - The Texas Diversity Council (TXDC) will host a Beaumont Women in Leadership Symposium from 8:30 a.m. until noon, Thursday, July 11, 2014 at the Beaumont Event Centre, 700 Crockett St. in downtown Beaumont. The event will feature a panel of executive women from organizations from Beaumont and surrounding areas, all focusing on the theme "Women of Vision: Leading Transformation in the Workplace."

Entergy Texas, Inc. is title sponsor for the event. Individual tickets are $35 and those interested in attending may register at https://nationaldiversitycouncilregistration.org/tx/bew.

The panelists sharing at this year's symposium are Sallie Rainer, president and chief executive officer, Entergy Texas, Inc.; Samina Farid, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Merrick Systems; Carol Fernandez, president and chief executive officer, Catholic Charities; Margie Conway, plant manager, Chevron Phillips Port Arthur Plant; and Dr. Vivian Jefferson, vice president, Lamar Institute of Technology.
