EnviTec Biogas is exhibiting at Agritechnica

12 tonnes of System Engineering to touch and feel

Lohne, 5th November 2013 - EnviTec Biogas, the all-round expert in biogas installations, is located in Lower Saxony and will be exhibiting at Agritechnica in Hanover from 10th-16th November. They will be presenting new innovations and providing information on biogas, the green energy multi-talent. The main attraction on the company's 190 m2 exhibition stand will be the technical container of the compact system EnviFarm Compact, which will be transparent and available for easy inspection. "With this exhibit, we want to bring the advantages of our compact plant concept right up close and clear to our potential customers", explains Roel Slotman, Chief Sales Officer at EnviTec Biogas AG.

With an output starting from 75 kW, EnviTec Compact plants score with maximum cost-effectiveness and a minimum footprint. The flexible systems from EnviTec are installed in steel containers to create a compact installation and can be fed either with pure slurry or with any other type of biomass. In this way, EnviFarm Compact offers the perfect option, especially to livestock farmers.

High-purity biomethane using EnviThan membrane technology

Alongside its compact plant technology, this company, which is located in Lohne, is also presenting EnviThan, its especially environmentally-friendly and economical biogas upgrading technology. This membrane technique, which has been awarded with the 2012 Biogas Innovation Prize from theGerman Farmers Association, cleans the crude gas produced in biogas plants to more than 97 per cent content in a particularly efficient process and is also very impressive due to its simple, modular construction. Visitors to the stand will have the process explained to them by means of an exhibit, and further information is available at the company's own demonstration facility in Sachsendorf and also in Köckte in the Saxony-Anhalt region at the recently-commissioned gas upgrading plant.

Through the method of upgrading to bio natural gas, biogas is ideal for providing a decentralised energy supply. It is no longer necessary for a biogas plant to be situated near to a heat consumer: this means that biogas produced in rural areas can be taken from the natural gas network in towns and turned into heat and electricity in combined heat and power plants.

Roel Slotman goes on to explain: "Upgrading gas with EnviThan is therefore ideal as a optimisation measure for existing plants".

Individual analysis to determine optimisation potential of existing plants

To support effective decision-making on potential extensions to a combined heat and power plant, or other repowering measures, the all-round biogas expert offers its customers a precise and detailed initial concept planning service. Within this proFit planning service, existing plant operators first get an individual system check, then a detailed analysis determining investments required and potential additional revenues, after which an evaluation of potential optimisation measures is presented. Exhibition visitors and plant operators can receive advice from EnviTec using previous installation examples and learn of the steps involved in the proFit analysis.

EnviTec is a company which operates world-wide and with its comprehensive service offering it lives up to its claim of being an all-round expert in biogas. This service offering is another feature which is being emphasised at the exhibition. EnviTec Biogas offers its customers an all-round service - from planning to finance and insurance options right through to commissioning, maintenance and after-sales support. The highly qualified staff of EnviTec Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - it's worth the effort. Thanks to the technical and biological service the average level of efficiency of plants supported by EnviTec stands at around 95%.
