By Kansas City, KS (February 25, 2013) - Epiq Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:EPIQ), a leading provider of managed technology for the global legal profession, today announced the expansion of its presence in Asia following the success of its eDiscovery and document review service offerings in the region.
Since opening in 2009, Epiq's Hong Kong office has seen its revenue steadily increase. Epiq is focusing on further Asian expansion with a new office opening in Tokyo, Japan. The new Japanese office will offer end-to-end eDiscovery services including consulting, forensics, collections, processing and hosting. Central to this expansion is the establishment of a new document review services facility with Japanese and other foreign language support.
Epiq Systems also announced the appointment of Scott Warren as general manager for the Japanese operation. Mr. Warren is a qualified attorney who brings more than 20 years' experience of working in the legal, corporate and eDiscovery sectors in Japan to his new role at Epiq Systems.
