In this session, Troy Hupp, director of I-9 and Compliance Center Services for Equifax Workforce Solutions, will join David Fowler, president, Worksite Compliance Services LLC, and Alberto Ruisanchez, acting deputy special counsel, U.S. Department of Justice, to spotlight recent I-9 requirements and help attendees understand the steps necessary to mitigate risk and achieve compliance. "Tax Credits and Incentives Impact the Bottom Line by Leveraging Payroll Data"
During this workshop, Lisa Harris, controller, Accounting Operations for TrueBlue, will join payroll consultant Gretchen L. Inouye, CPP, and Scott D. Shipman, senior tax manager for Equifax Workforce Solutions, to share an overview of available tax credits and incentives that can help organizations minimize tax liabilities and impact the bottom line. In addition, Harris, Inouye and Shipman will explore a variety of state and federal incentives and will review the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), Job Creation, Enterprise Zones and other location-based opportunities.
