Eramet : AG2R LA MONDIALE and ERAMET sign lease to "the 10 Grenelle" building

Paris, November 23rd, 2017

AG2R LA MONDIALE and ERAMET, the world leader in alloying metals and upscale metallurgy, have signed a lease for more than 6,000 m² of office space in "10 Grenelle", a building at 10 boulevard de Grenelle in Paris' 15th arrondissement. The building will become ERAMET's head office in mid-2018 and will host approximately 350 Group employees.

After a lease signed with the Les Échos Le Parisien group in 2016 awaiting completion of two-thirds of office space, only 2 open spaces remain on the market for a total area of 2,000 m² on the 10th and 11th floors.

The property, inaugurated in July, is comprised of 2 buildings with a total net rental area of 30,000 m². This tall structure went through extensive restructuring by the architects Braun + Associés to meet the highest current environmental, regulatory and commercial standards. CALQ managed the project. The building has HQE, gold LEED and exceptional BREEAM certificates as well as a BC label for low energy consumption.

10 Grenelle is located on the site of the former Winter Velodrome. As part of its renovation, a serene, harmonious and noble place for recollection was designed in rue Nélaton. This will host commemorative gatherings and contribute to the duty of remembrance.

This operation once again demonstrates AG2R LA MONDIALE's ability to enhance its historical heritage and manage complex development projects. It also shows ERAMET's will to locate its head office in a modern, environmentally-friendly building, in accordance with the Group's transformation goals and providing optimal working conditions.
