Letter of Interest for Purchase of Colemanite
June 26, 2012
Erin Ventures Inc. [TSX-Venture: EV] announced that it has
received a 'Letter of Interest' from a potential strategic
partner, wherein they have expressed their interest in
entering into a purchase contract with Erin for colemanite
from the Piskanja property in Serbia, subject to Erin's
ability to supply a competitive product (i.e. sufficient
quantity, quality and pricing point). The prospective
partner is a leading consumer of colemanite, with assets in
North America, Europe and Asia.
Due to the sensitive nature of the boron industry, the
parties have entered into a mutual non-disclosure
agreement. Consequently, further information regarding this
potential transaction will be available only with consent
of both parties.
Erin believes that its best course to effectively penetrate
the market and maximize returns is to secure multiple
strategic partners who are well established in various
facets of the boron industry. As a result, Erin is engaged
in a due diligence process with several potential partners
that have the ability to provide needed capital, technical
expertise (general mining and boron-specific),
boron-specific marketing expertise, boron-specific
value-added expertise, as well as substantial end-users of
boron and boron derivatives who are looking to secure long
term supply arrangements.
On behalf of the Board of Directors,
