Mumbai, December 8, 2014:Eros International Plc (NYSE: EROS) ("Eros"), a leading global company in the Indian film entertainment industry, announced today its collaboration with Salman Khan Films for the global distribution rights to Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Hero.
Produced by Salman Khan and Rockline Venkatesh Films, Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a romantic drama focused on the relationship between a Muslim man and a Brahmin woman and stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi. Production began earlier this month and the film is set for release in July 2015.
Nikhil Advani's Hero is a modern day remake of Subhash Ghai's classic of the same name and features newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. The film is scheduled for release in summer 2015.
