2015-11-26 Esprit, the international fashion brand for clothing and lifestyle products, has joined the Partnership for Sustainable Textiles, 'Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien ', initiated under German Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Dr. Gerd Müller.

'We are very positive about Dr. Müller's initiative. Since many of the abuses that workers face around the world are illegal under local law, there is a definite role for government in our on-going efforts to assure working conditions in our supplier factories globally. We welcome the German Government's support of our efforts, and will ensure that our business operations blend as seamlessly as possible with this alliance's standards,' comments Lary Brown, Vice President- Head of Global Social Compliance & Sustainability, Esprit.

Responsible business practise is part of Esprit's heritage since its foundation in 1968.
