1. Edgewood Park in Redwood City

Home of Jerry Rice's legendary workout and the source of his powers, 'The Hill' will have you ready for summer in no time. Redwood City's perfect weather, paired with this beautiful 4 mile trail, will have you coming back again and again. Donning the #80 jersey will only make you run faster.

2. Mission Peak in Fremont

Making it up Mission Peak is Instagram worthy. With a panoramic view of the entire Bay Area, be sure to take a selfie on the popular summit marker, 'The Mission Peaker.' Fremont Essex residents : Thank you for sharing your backyard with us.

With beautiful scenery, a hard to beat view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the cool ocean breeze, it's hard not to get mesmerized. 'If you can't fall in love in San Francisco, you can't fall in love anywhere'- Woody Allen's Blue Jasmine. One tip: bring your crush.

4. Sweeney Ridge in San Bruno and Pacifica

San Bruno's best kept secret is one of the few places where you can get both a view of the bay and Pacific Ocean. Residents of the Bay Area you have stunning views to choose from.

5. Seal Point Park in San Mateo

Okay, okay, so it's not exactly a hiking trail, but definitely more of a place for everyone, including kids! Park 20 runners enjoy a jog along the gorgeous Bay Trail, race up the soaring staircase, and finish the day with a picnic at Seal Point's fully equipped neighbor, Ryder Park. This Peninsula gem is for everyone, even doggies.
