Europe Blue-Chip Dividend & Growth Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end investment fund. The Fund's investment objectives are to provide unitholders with stable quarterly distributions; provide unitholders with the opportunity for capital appreciation, and mitigate the impact of foreign exchange exposure through the use of currency hedging strategies. The Fund's portfolio includes investments in range of sectors, which include financials, industrials, energy, consumer staples, consumer discretionary, telecommunication services, materials utilities, information technology and healthcare. Highstreet Asset Management Inc. (Highstreet) is the portfolio manager of the Fund, which provides any investment advisory and portfolio management services required by the Fund. Scotia Managed Companies Administration Inc. (SMCAI) is the manager of the Fund. SMCAI is a subsidiary of Scotia Capital Inc. (SCI), which in turn is a subsidiary of The Bank of Nova Scotia.
