"Reaching Java developers at JavaOne requires us to be on target with our strategy for the software framework, which builds on Java embedded SE and presents an open source implementation that lets developers both use and extend the code," explains Marco Carrer, VP of Software Development for Eurotech. "We give developers a step up in their creative programming efforts by integrating our software building blocks in Kura, ESF and Everyware Cloud with our portfolio of multi-service gateways."
"The number of projects joining the Eclipse IoT Working Group demonstrates the level of interest developers have in open source IoT technology," says Mike Milinkovich, executive director for the Eclipse Foundation. "The Eclipse Kura project is a great example of open source technology that accelerates the development of IoT solutions by providing the developers the foundational elements to connect and manage IoT gateways."
