Evercore Partners : Rodney Reid to Join Evercore as a Managing Director in Its Private Capital Advisory Group

Evercore (NYSE:EVR) announced today that Rodney Reid has agreed to join the Firm’s Private Capital Advisory business as a Managing Director. Mr. Reid initially will be based in Evercore’s office in London, and later will relocate to New York. He will focus on advising leading institutional investors and Fund sponsors on secondary transactions.

Mr. Reid, who will join Evercore in November, was most recently an Executive Director and Head of Europe, the Middle East and Africa Secondary Advisory at UBS, based in London. Prior to that, he was a member of UBS’s Private Funds Group focused on secondary transactions based in New York. Mr. Reid has extensive secondary market experience and has led a number of notable secondary transactions in North America and Europe for clients including leading public pensions, university endowments, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds and leading private equity general partners. Before joining UBS, Mr. Reid worked at Cerberus Capital Management in New York.

Mr. Reid holds a BBA from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
