With its ZENIUS offering, Evolis presents new printers for
plastic cards, totally focused on users, and highly modular
when it comes to data encoding. These solutions enable
instant personalization of any type of card, singly or in
small runs: employee badges, access control badges, payment
cards, transportation passes, and more.
ZENIUS Expert, a fully modular solution
In the Expert version, ZENIUS offers many encoding
options that can be combined: ISO magnetic, contact and
contactless smart card compliant with the ISO 14443
standard, Mifare, Desfire … This model truly makes a
difference and provides value as encoding modules can be
added or removed within the production environment,
autonomously and simply.
A quality and high-performance product range
Evolis also announces Evolis High Trust® , an offering
designed to optimize graphic performances and lighten the
routine of daily operations. Ribbons are available as
embedded in a cassette system, while each cassette is
identified with an RFID label that automatically triggers
printer configuration upon installing the ribbon in the
printer.
The recently announced Evolis Premium Suite® offering
is a software architecture that provides printing and
configuration-monitoring features to facilitate
communication between the printer and the user. Evolis
printers can be operated from end to end, right from the
user's desktop, with pop-up alerts give visibility into
printing jobs in progress, also providing the operator with
the overall printer status.
Zenius, setting market standards in eco-design
Zenius, the first printer to extensively leverage
sustainable development best practices, leverages recycled
and recyclable material. Zenius has earned the coveted
Energy Star certification, and fully complies with the
European ErP directive, which promotes lower energy
