Operators at LaSalle County Generating Station returned Unit 1 to full power last night following maintenance on five steam line valves.  

MARSEILLES, Ill. (October 22, 2014) -- Operators at LaSalle County Generating Station returned Unit 1 to full power last night following maintenance on five steam line valves. The unit was removed from service on Sunday, Oct. 12 and returned to service on Sunday, Oct. 19.

LaSalle Generating Station is located about 75 miles southwest of Chicago near Marseilles, Ill. At full power, the facility's two units produce more than 2,200 megawatts of carbon free electricity, enough to power 2.3 million homes.
