CHICAGO - Exelon today announced that Bryan Dumont has been appointed as director of Reputation Insights and Strategy. In this newly-created role, Dumont will help the company develop a best-in-class business intelligence system that will measure and monitor opportunities and risks and advise on strategies to protect and enhance reputation. Dumont joins Exelon in March from leading global corporate advisory firm Brunswick Group, where he was a partner in the firm's London office. Dumont will report to Maggie FitzPatrick, Exelon's senior vice president of Corporate Affairs and Philanthropy.

'Bryan is a proven leader in the field whose expertise will help us maximize data and analytics in a way that provides real-world, actionable guidance so we can more effectively engage our stakeholders,' said FitzPatrick. 'We are delighted he is joining the team.'

In previous roles, Dumont helped shape successful communication campaigns for many top global brands, protecting corporate reputation while delivering tangible business results. Prior to Brunswick, he was the president of APCO Insight for global strategic communications firm APCO Worldwide, where he was the main architect of the firm's ground-breaking reputation and brand research methodologies.

Dumont received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
