Experian, the global information services company, is pleased to announce that the Company's Chairman, Don Robert, will join the Bank of England's governing body effective from August this year.

Members of the Committee are appointed by recommendation of the Prime Minister and Chancellor of the Exchequer. The Court of the Bank of England is responsible for managing the affairs of the Bank outside of the formulation of monetary policy.

Don Robert said: "I am deeply honoured to have been selected to serve the Court of the Bank of England and hope to make a valuable contribution to what is a critically important and highly respected institution".
