Dr. Caroline Harris, Principal Scientist and Director of Exponent's Health Sciences practice, will be speaking at the 6th Latin American Pesticide Residue Workshop May 15, 2017 in San Jose, Costa Rica. The title of her talk is, 'How Much Progress are We Making Towards Harmonising the Setting and Acceptance of MRLs?'
The Latin American Pesticide Residue Workshop is the latest in a series of workshops on the topic of pesticide residue that began in 2007. These international workshops represent a major step toward the improvement of agrochemicals science in Latin America. It is also an ideal way to keep scientists and regulators informed about advances in the pesticide residue regulation in food and the environment, methodologies of analysis, instrumentation, risk analysis, monitoring, control and quality assurance of laboratories.
