Fairchild signs new retailer agreement with Toyota Tsusho to expand sales of its industry-leading automotive power electronics solutions in Japan

Tokyo, Japan - September 25, 2015 - Fairchild (NASDAQ: FCS), a leading global supplier of high-performance semiconductor solutions, announces today that we have concluded a new retailer agreement with Toyota Tsusho Electronics Corporation (main office: Nagoya, Aichi; CEO: Atsushi Aoki), representing a large step towards our goal of doubling sales in Japan within three years.

A trusted brand in the gaming and home appliance segments, Fairchild's experience as a global semiconductor supplier spans over 50 years. Furthermore, we've been addressing the advanced needs of automakers and their parts suppliers for decades with power management technologies including IGBT, MOSFET, ignition IGBT, injector drivers, gate drivers, and power modules. Today, our solutions are used in power assisted steering (EPAS), motor drives, traction inverters, power chargers, DC-DC converters, and other systems, that require both high quality and high levels of efficiency.

Looking to expand sales of our globally recognized products in the Japanese vehiclemounted electronics market, we concluded a retailer agreement with Toyota Tsusho Electronics, a company with a long history of experience in the vehicle-mounted electronics segment.

All of our vehicle-mounted semiconductor products are developed and manufactured at facilities that have earned QS-9000 and ISO/TS-16949 certification, and have passed AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q101 reliability tests.
