Famur : During the mining fair in Katowice FAMUR will present a broad portfolio of products and services offered by FAMUR and KOPEX Groups which are in the process of integration

Over 30 years of tradition, hundreds of meetings and tens of thousands of participants are the main elements distinguishing this industrial trade fair, which is one of the largest events of this type in the world and where the representatives of the mining, metallurgy and power industries can share their knowledge and experience. As every year, the FAMUR Group, which is one of the leading manufacturers of machines and systems used in underground mining based on the long-wall excavation method, will be among the exhibitors. For the first time in the history of the fair in Katowice, the FAMUR Group will present itself together with KOPEX.

Guests visiting the stand of FAMUR and KOPEX will be able to get to know the target model and global scale of functioning of the integrated entity. An innovative form of presenting the joint offer will allow us to present the products and services for the mining industry, e.g. the FS-800 shearer loader that has not yet been presented at any fair, in an attractive way. The exhibition of the FAMUR Group with an area of 500 square metres, will be located at stand no. 21 in sector B in front of the Spodek Sports and Entertainment Arena in Katowice.

A product seminar will be one of this year's ancillary events, during which selected machines, equipment and services included in the FAMUR Group's offer will be discussed. As far as the presentations are concerned, special attention will be paid to the concept of Industry 4.0 in the mining industry, possibilities of increasing the efficiency of coal seams in Poland, remote control of roadheaders, diagnostics of industrial gears and transport of people using belt conveyors.
