Two senior directors appointed to F&C's institutional client management team

F&C Investments today announced it has further expanded its institutional client management team with the appointment of Paul Myles and Dick Rae, to provide additional expertise and client coverage in the UK pension and insurance markets.
Dick Rae brings 36 years' experience specialising in the insurance sector, and will focus on developing F&C Investments' insurance franchise. He will work within F&C Investments' structuring and solutions business to help develop tailored insurance solutions, and work alongside F&C Investments' insurance client management team to deliver those solutions to UK insurance providers. Dick joins from HSBC where he was a managing director in the Strategic Solutions group, focusing on the insurance sector.
Paul Myles joins the team to expand on the services F&C Investments provides to the local government and corporate pension schemes. Paul joins from Nordea where he was director, head of UK and Ireland institutional business, and was responsible for UK and Irish corporate and local authority pensions and insurance companies. Paul will use his extensive experience and understanding of the government and corporate pension markets to deliver tailored cost-effective investment solutions and expand on F&C Investments' already extensive presence in these markets.
Commenting on the appointments, Mandy Mannix, head of client service and distribution, said: "Local authorities and insurers face their own distinct investment and regulatory challenges and they increasingly require dedicated expertise to navigate this backdrop. We're proud to have attracted such well experienced talent in Dick and Paul, whose relationships and knowledge will help us deepen our capability and
