The History

Brothers Nick and Giles English, from Norfolk, England, inherited a love for all things mechanical from their father, Euan English, who was an ex-RAF pilot with a PHD in Aeronautical Engineering. From a young age they spent time in their father's workshop building models, restoring cars and fixing old broken clocks their father would bring home.

As the boys grew up, they added planes to their love of mechanics and with their father, got their pilots licenses and eventually started flying vintage planes in air shows.

Life was perfect until March the 4, 1995.

As Giles was getting ready to take off while practicing for an air show, he heard over the radio that the plane his father and brother were piloting crashed.

His father was dead; his brother had over 30 broken bones and was not expected to survive.

The brothers were devastated, but six months later, Nick was back in the air, flying with Giles.

[Attachment] Realizing that life was short, the English brothers knew the time had come to do what they love best. Over the years, they continued restoring vintage aircraft with the goal of someday crafting beautifully engineered mechanical devices.

In 2002, after years of pursuing their dream, the brothers founded Bremont Watch Company to create pilots' watches of exceptional quality.

Today - The English Tour

The English brothers have taken their love of vintage cars around the USA to meet with customers of Bremont, car clubs and take in the sights of America in an epic 3,300 mile journey.

So far the brothers have seen customers in New York, checked out Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina and visited the FedEx World Hub in Memphis, Tennessee. Follow their journey here: https://www.bremont.com/englishtour.
