The production site of Feintool Automotive System Parts in Tianjin, China, is running at full steam and has been assigned many more long-term orders. In order to be able to meet the high level of demand, capacities are being rapidly expanded. The end of May 2018 saw the ground-breaking ceremony for the enlargement of the forming production operations, which will comprise a total of almost 4,400 square meters and three additional press lines as well as further processing infrastructure. The expansion will be completed by mid-2019.

This site, close to Beijing, enables Feintool to meet customers' demands for global, customer-oriented suppliers that can competitively produce components ready for assembly and modules. Feintool Automotive System Parts in Tianjin has developed a specialization in challenging formed components for the automotive supplier industry based there.

'We are delighted that only a year after its takeover, so many new orders have been acquired that we are able to expand our Tianjin factory. Furthermore, I would like to thank our management, who have shown their faith in us with this enormous investment,' said Marcel Pernici, Head of System Parts Asia, commenting on the expansion of the site.
