Next weekend the ADAC-Abarth F4 Championship powered by Abarh makes its first ever visit to the Netherlands: the circuit of Zandvoort will host the penultimate appointment of the championship, featuring over 40 young drivers on the starting line driving Tatuus single-seaters with Abarth engines.
The uncertainty over the final rankings makes this Championship especially exciting, with Australian pilot Joey Mawson leading, in front of German Mick Schumacher and Mick Ortmann. Mawson and Schumacher have opened up a huge gap between the rest of the field after their recent victories at the Nürburgring. The Australian has 297 points, while his former team-mate Schumacher is on 251. The best of the rest are led by Mike David Ortmann in third place on 180 points. He is followed by Kim-Luis Schramm on 158, Thomas Preining on 136 and Jannes Fittje on 125 points.
The weekend's programme in Zandvoort will consist of two rounds of official time trials starting on Friday 19 August at 2.45 and 3.10 p.m. Saturday Race1 will start at 12.00 a.m, Race 2 al 5,45; the Sunday race will take place at 10.20 a.m. The races can be watched in live streaming at www.adac-motorsport.de.
