• Sixth appointment of the season with the German series, led by Australian pilot Joey Mawson with Mick Schumacher in second place.
  • Forty young pilots in the one-seaters powered by Abarth, racing four competitions: two on Saturday and two on Sunday.
  • The opinion of Sebastian Vettel.

The sixth stage of the ADAC-Abarth F4 Championship powered by Abarth will take place this weekend on the German Nurburgring circuit, featuring over 40 young drivers on the starting line driving Tatuus single-seaters with Abarth engines.

The uncertainty over the final rankings makes this Championship especially exciting, with Australian pilot Joey Mawson leading, in front of German Mick Schumacher and Mick Ortmann.
This is a great, yet demanding season for young Schumacher, since he also races in the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth, where is in second place in the general rankings.

Both championships adopt the single-seater with Abarth T-Jet 160 HP engine, the same engine featured in the Abarth 595 and 595 Turismo, which guarantees maximum reliability and low management costs.

That this is a good formula was confirmed by the words of Sebastian Vettel at the last German Grand Prix: 'I saw the ADAC-Abarth F4 races on TV - said the Ferrari pilot - and I noticed that the youngest provide a great, exciting racing show. I am curious to see if some of them, in a few years, will participate in the German GP driving a Formula 1 car'.

The weekend's programme in Nurburgring will consist of two rounds of official time trials starting on Friday 5 August at 2.30 and 2.55 p.m.. Qualifiers will take place on Saturday at 10.40 a.m., while Race1 will start at 2.50 p.m.; the two Sunday races will take place at 10.30 a.m. and 2.50 p.m. respectively. The races can be watched in live streaming at www.adac-motorsport.de.
