The prestigious event will be held from February 23 to 26 in the ExCel exhibition centre in London. It will be an extraordinary opportunity to celebrate the glorious past of Abarth and the exciting new models in the current line-up

Abarth will be setting back the rally clocks forty years at the London Classic Car Show from February 23 to 26. This year, the stand of the brand with the scorpion badge (E70) will be dedicated to the new Abarth 124 spider and showcase the special bond between past and present of the brand with the recently introduced Abarth 124 spider and a classic 1973 Fiat Abarth 124 Rally.

The rally racing counterparts of the two models will also be present to reassert the remarkable racing heritage of the brands: visitors will admire the Abarth 124 rally and the 1975 Fiat Abarth 124 Rally Gr. 4. The 124 rally marks the comeback of Abarth to rallies with a Trophy in Italy and a European Challenge.

The vintage cars on display are part of the Abarth Classiche project, which was kicked off last year to encourage the repair, recovery and certification of classic Abarth models. Abarth Classiche was launched in the UK during the 2016 edition of London Classic Car and offers its services in a dedicated workshop in Turin.

The coherence between the current models, like the 124 spider and the recently introduced new 595, and those which have scored many motorsport records in the past is one of the secrets of the commercial success of Abarth also on the United Kingdom. The year 2016 was the best ever for the UK market with a total of 3966 units sold (an increase of 44.5% with respect to the 2743 units sold in 2015).

London Classic Car Show is an extraordinary opportunity to showcase the Abarth news for 2017 and at the same time to celebrate the glorious past of the brand with the scorpion badge. The clever combination of new and old is bound to fire the enthusiasm of the many enthusiasts who will crowd the event.

The English language version of the www.fcaheritage.com website, dedicated to the history of Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Lancia and Abarth, will be going live in time for the London event. It is the virtual showcase of the FCA Heritage department and a mandatory stop for anyone who is interested in classic car history, events and activities of the four Italian brands. By means of the website, fans can sign up for the FCA Heritage newsletter to remain abreast of the activities and services offered by the department.
