Fiat Chrysler Automobiles reports European sales up 6.9% in June on the back of a 4.3% increase in market demand. The Fiat 500 remained the most popular vehicle in the A segment, with more than 19,000 units sold (+22.2%), followed by the Fiat Panda. The Fiat 500L posted its 24th consecutive month of sales increases and continued as leader in its segment with a 23.3% share. Jeep registered a 62% increase in European sales with significant growth all major markets.

In June, new passenger car registrations in Europe (EU28+EFTA) were up 4.3% year-over-year to
1,230,000 units. For the first six months, registrations were up 6.2% year-over-year to nearly
6,852,000 units.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles posted a 6.9% year-over-year increase in June sales in Europe, with more than 74,000 vehicles sold. Compared with May 2014, sales were up 3.1%. Market share for June was 6.0% versus 5.9% a year ago.

The Group achieved significant sales increases in all major European markets. Sales were up
3.1% in Italy, 14.1% in Germany (-1.9% for the market), 1.2% in France, 16.2% in the UK (+6.2% for the market) and 55.8% in Spain (+23.8% for the market). FCA also registered a 5.4% market share in Spain, representing a 110 basis point gain over June a year ago.
For the first six months, FCA sales totaled nearly 420,000 vehicles (+2.3% year-over-year) and market share was 6.1% (vs. 6.4%).

Fiat brand posted June sales in Europe of more than 57,500 vehicles (+5.5% year-over-year), with market share increasing to 4.7% (vs. 4.6% a year ago). Sales were up in nearly all major European markets, increasing 4.7% in Italy, 8.0% in Germany, 13.2% in the UK and 52.9% in Spain.

For the year to date, brand sales were up 1.9% to nearly 325,000 vehicles, accounting for a 4.7% share of the market (vs. 4.9% for the first half of 2013). First half sales were up 18.3% in the UK and 46.2% in Spain.
The 500 family posted a strong June performance with markets outside Italy accounting for 62.4%
of European sales. Sales of the 500L were up by around 60% to 10,000 units, and the model remained clear segment leader with share increasing to 23.3% from 15.7% in June 2013. Strong performances included Italy, where the 500L registered a 53.4% segment share (vs. 32.6% in June
2013), and Spain, where segment share reached 41.3% (vs. 26.8%). June represented the 500L's
24th consecutive month of sales growth and, for the first six months of 2014 sales were up 54%
over the same period in 2013.
Seven years after launch, the 500 continues to dominate the A segment with June sales topping
19,000 units (+22.2%) and segment share up 440 basis points over June a year ago to 18.5%. The
Panda was the second best selling vehicle in the A segment with nearly 13,500 vehicles sold and a
12.9% segment share (+35 bps). The Panda and 500 accounted for a combined 31.4% share of the A segment (+470 bps vs. June 2013).

Lancia/Chrysler posted June sales of more than 6,800 vehicles (+5.4% year-over-year) and European market share was unchanged at 0.6%. Brand sales were up 54% in Germany (-1.9% for the market), 75.3% in France (+2.5% for the market) and 80.2% in Spain.

For the six months year to date, brand sales were down 0.7% to just under 41,000 vehicles and share was stable at 0.6%.
For the Ypsilon, sales were up 14.1% in June and 13.3% for the year to date.

Alfa Romeo posted June sales of nearly 5,800 vehicles (-2.3% year-over-year) and share was stable at 0.5%.

The brand posted positive results in several major markets, however, with sales up 6.5% in
Germany, 14.8% in France, 28.1% in the UK and 76.0% in Spain.
For the first six months, brand sales were just under 33,000 vehicles (-9.3% versus the same period in 2013) with share at 0.5% (-10 bps).

In Italy, the MiTo registered its 10th consecutive month of growth, with sales up 17% year-over- year compared with a 3.8% contraction for the B segment in Italy overall. Europe-wide, MiTo sales were up 5.2% compared with a 1.2% decrease for the segment.
The Giulietta posted sales increases of more than 20% in France and the UK, compared with 13%
growth for its segment in France and demand unchanged in the UK.

Jeep brand's June sales in Europe were up 62% year-over-year to more than 3,000 vehicles, continuing the global sales momentum which saw the brand set an all-time record in May of more than 100,000 vehicles sold worldwide. Jeep reported the largest percentage increase for the month. Market share was in line with the prior year at 0.2%. The brand posted increases in nearly all markets, with sales up 42.9% in Italy, 69.3% in Germany, 48.5% in France, 73.4% in the UK and

24.3% in Spain.
For the year to date, Jeep brand sales were up 43.8% to more than 16,000 vehicles. Market share was in line with the prior year at 0.2%.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee continued as one of the best selling vehicles in its segment with sales up 63.2% for the first half to nearly 8,000 vehicles. Just two months after launch, the Cherokee also ranks among the best sellers in its segment.
For Ferrari and Maserati, the Group's luxury brands, European sales totaled 846 vehicles in June and 4,603 vehicles for the year to date.
