FinecoBank: € 200 mln Additional Tier 1 (AT1) approved

FinecoBank informs that today's Board of Directors approved the issuance of an Additional Tier1, Perp Non Call June 2023 (5.5 yrs) (Non-Cumulative Temporary Write-Down Deeply Subordinated Fixed Rate Resettable Notes).

The size is € 200 million and the Notes are perpetual and fully subscribed by UniCredit S.p.A through a private placement1. The coupon is fixed at 4.82% for the initial 5.5 years.

Given current favorable market conditions and spreads level, the Bank has decided to issue the AT1 which allows the Bank to sustain a more diversified investment portfolio.

An intra-group private placement has several benefits in terms of effective costs saving such as Joint Lead Managers fees and a faster issuance process which allows the Bank to take advantage of current favorable market environment, therefore maximizing the benefits of the deal.
