Fingerprint Cards appoints Pontus Jägemalm as Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

As part of the company's strategy to strengthen its market position and enhance its innovative capabilities, Fingerprint Cards (Fingerprints) is appointing Pontus Jägemalm as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Since before, Pontus Jägemalm holds the position of Senior Vice President, Research & Development at Fingerprints. The company continues to develop technology-leading solutions. In his new role as CTO, Pontus Jägemalm will further drive and accelerate development activities in close cooperation with customers.

Pontus Jägemalm continues as a member of the company's management team. In operational terms, the appointment means that Pontus Jägemalm remains in his role as Senior Vice President, Research & Development. Leadership for the daily Research & Development work will be divided between the business lines (Mobile, Smartcard, PC & Embedded) and existing managers within Research & Development.
