FinLab AG expects very strong results for the 2017 financial year, according to preliminary figures

Frankfurt am Main, March 20, 2018 - FinLab AG (WKN 121806, ISIN DE0001218063, Ticker A7A.GR) expects very strong financial results for the past financial year of 2017, according to reviews of preliminary figures.
The (preliminary) net profit for FinLab, which is derived in accordance with IFRS standards, has improved by EUR 0.2 million to EUR 14.2 million, compared to the last period. The (preliminary) overall profit (IFRS) of EUR 30.8 million (last year: EUR 32.2 million) has continued to develop strongly. According to German GAAP (HGB), FinLab has achieved a (preliminary) result of EUR 1.8 million (last year: EUR 2,3 million). This figure is well-above the expected values.
The (preliminary) net asset value per share (NAV) of FinLab has improved by 41% from EUR 14.79 per share to EUR 20.83 per share. The company's (preliminary) equity (IFRS) amounts to EUR 103.9 million (last year: EUR 67.1 million).
The principal reasons for the very good results (IFRS) are the outputs from the strong performance of Heliad Equity Partners GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN: DE000A0L1NN5 / Ticker: HPBK), which demonstrated a 66% performance in 2017, as well as the revaluation of Deposit Solutions GmbH, which collected USD 20 million in its last financing round at the end of November 2017, doubled last year's valuation.
The annual report is expected to be published on April 12, 2018 on www.FinLab.de in the Investor Relations section.
