Firestone Diamonds plc, the AIM-quoted diamond development company, announces that it was notified on 22 September 2016, that Lucio Genovese, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at 44.5 pence per share Ordinary Share on 22 September2016.
As a result of the purchase, Mr Genovese is now interested in 2,846,944 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 0.91 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
