Fission Receives Securityholder Approval of Plan of Arrangement with Denison Mines Corp.
FISSION ENERGY CORP. ("Fission" or the "Company") (TSX-V: FIS) is pleased to announce that the previously announced plan of arrangement (the "Arrangement") with Denison Mines Corp. has been approved by the Fission shareholders and optionholders (the "Fission Securityholders"). At the meeting of Fission Securityholders held on April 23, 2013, a special resolution approving the Arrangement was approved by 99% of the votes cast by Fission Securityholders, voting together as a single class.

The Arrangement is still subject to final approval by the TSXV and the Supreme Court of British Columbia (the "Court"). The Court hearing for the final order to approve the Arrangement is scheduled to take place on April 25, 2013, and the completion of the Arrangement is expected to occur on April 26, 2013.
