Flinders Mines Limited (ASX: FMS) (Flinders or Company) advises that the recent regional fires at PIOP have now abated. The site and its facilities have been inspected and the camp has been reopened following an appropriate risk assessment. There was minor damage to the site and all systems are now repaired and fully functioning. Given the advance state of the site works, it has been decided that the hydrogeological drill rig does not need to be remobilised and that adequate data has been obtained for the geotechnical and hydrogeological parts of the maturation works. All other site drilling activities were complete prior to the recent evacuation. Minor site works will completed over the coming weeks and then the site will be shut down for the balance of this calendar year in preparation for the wet season.
