Vienna Airport: LOT Pays a Visit with a Retro-Painted Embraer 175

Today, Tuesday May 27, 2014, the Polish airline LOT paid a visit to Vienna Airport operating a retro-painted Embraer ERJ-175. This was on the occasion of the 85 anniversary of the airline. As a result, representatives of LOT and Vienna Airport were present at a joint photo session to mark the landing of the retro jet. Ten hobby photographers with a passion for aviation also attended. They were invited by LOT and Vienna Airport to get a close look of the aircraft and take pictures of it.

The retro jet departing from Warsaw landed on schedule at 8:45 a.m. and left Vienna Airport at 9:50 a.m. for its return flight to the Polish capital. The aircraft can be seen again and again in Vienna in the upcoming weeks. The retro-painted Embraer jet is part of the normal aircraft deployment and will thus repeatedly have a stopover at Vienna Airport. Whoever wants to get a glimpse of this special aircraft is advised to visit the observation terrace located on the roof of Check-in 3.
