In February 2014, Fluxys Belgium and its connected German counterparts Fluxys TENP, GASCADE Gastransport, Open Grid Europe (OGE) and Thyssengas (TG) will extend their current offer of bundled products by additionally offering bundled monthly products, besides the existing daily products. Bundled quarterly capacity will follow in June 2014.

Monthly Capacity - Starting with the monthly capacity auction in February 2014, Fluxys Belgium and the connected German TSOs will offer bundled monthly capacity at the interconnection points between Germany and Belgium:

  • Between Fluxys Belgium and GASCADE Gastransport: both directions Gaspool to ZTP and ZTP to Gaspool,
  • Between Fluxys Belgium and Open Grid Europe: both directions NCG to ZTP and ZTP to NCG,
  • Between Fluxys Belgium and Fluxys TENP: both directions NCG to ZTP and ZTP to NCG,
  • Between Fluxys Belgium and Thyssengas: ZTP to NCG.

Quarterly Capacity - As of June 2014, Fluxys Belgium and the connected German TSOs will also offer bundled quarterly capacity in the same combinations.

Towards full compliance with the CAM Network Code - Taking these additions into account, all products for H-gas at the Belgian-German border will be progressively offered according to CAM Network Code. The minimum of available capacity at both sides of the border will be bundled on PRISMA, possibly making use of competing auctions. Where and when relevant, the German TSOs will auction the remaining part as unbundled standard products, while Fluxys Belgium will continue to offer and allocate its unbundled capacity as requested through its Electronic Booking System. With these developments, all TSOs will enable a smooth transition towards the new allocation rules and standard products applicable from 1 November 2015, as set out in Commission Regulation (EU) No 984/2013.
