A mid-air proposal, a Flybe-themed wedding table, a secret trip across the Irish Sea and a couple who have travelled the equivalent of four times around the world with Flybe in the name of love!....

Europe's largest Regional Airline is staking a claim as the UK's Most Romantic Regional Airline with the above examples being highlighted as part of a competition in the run up to Valentine's Day on its Facebook pagewww.facebook.com/flybe

The couple whose story featured on Flybe's 'Love is in the Air' competition which attracts the most 'Likes' or 'Loves' will win a pair of return tickets to a Flybe-operated destination of their choice, with Paris, Amsterdam and Milan all potential romantic destinations to choose from. Votes can be cast from 10th February through to 2200 on 13th February and the nation's favourite will be announced on 14th February.

Flybe loves the role it has played as Cupid in making possible many special personal connections, of which these Fab Four are but a very small sample and hopes that the competition will entice yet more couples to share their stories.

With an expansive regional network offering a multitude of connections, Flybe has proved time and again that it can often be the romantic lifeline that enables relationships to blossom.

Christine Ourmieres-Widener, Flybe CEO, comments: "When we hear about these stories, it reminds us that we're not just about connecting people to places, but we're connecting people to people. Flybe offers people a fast, convenient way to travel and meet up especially when spending precious time together is so very important. It is always just so good to hear how we have played a small part in making it a little easier for their relationships to be maintained, often across long distances. We look forward to finding out who will steal the nation's heart on 14th February!"
