SFL - The Washington Plaza wins the

'Offices In-Use' category at the BREEAM Awards 2015

The environmental performance of its portfolio has received BREEAM certification at high standards (very good, excellent and outstanding) for buildings in operation (BREEAM In-Use International - Part 1, 2 & 3) and under development (BREEAM Construction).
At the BREEAM Awards 2015, which were held in London on 3rd March, the Washington Plaza business complex was named winner of the category 'BREEAM Offices In-Use'. The judges appreciated how the recent renovation project has enhanced the existing building and significantly improved its technical performance and energy consumption while minimizing its environmental impact.
The Washington Plaza business centre, located in the immediate vicinity of the Champs- Elysées, now offers shared areas and work spaces that have been entirely reconfigured to improve accessibility, use, and the way people move around the building. The project, in partnership with the Architect DTACC, also enabled the creation of new spaces for informal exchanges and meetings and improvements to the service offering (concierge, à la carte restaurant, contemporary café, outside spaces). Last but not least, a large garden at the heart of the business centre runs alongside a spectacular green wall measuring 80 meters long by 7 meters high.
Washington Plaza has been certified BREEAM In-Use for parts 1 (Asset: Very Good), 2 (Building Management: Outstanding) and 3 (Occupier's Management (SFL headquarters): Outstanding).
