Henry Li is vice president, marketing and sales, Ford Greater China, effective May 7, 2018. Li will be based in Chongqing and Shanghai, reporting to Peter Fleet, Ford Motor Company group vice president and president, Asia Pacific, chairman and CEO, Ford China. In this new role, Li will be responsible for leading Ford's transition to a National Distribution Services Division (NDSD) in China. The NDSD will be responsible for all the marketing, sales & service of all Ford passenger vehicles sold in China, regardless of who builds them and whether they are locally assembled or imported.

Li brings 26 years of marketing and sales experience in China's auto industry. Prior to joining Ford, he was senior vice president of Beijing Mercedes-Benz Sales Service Company. In this role, Li led the team that drove China to become the largest single market for the company globally, and established a highly efficient, profitable national distribution network, driving the monthly sales year-over-year increase in China for 59 consecutive months.

From 2007 to 2013, he held several leadership roles in Beijing Benz Automotive Company's sales and marketing operations, including executive vice president of sales and marketing, general manager of sales and marketing, and general manager of the sales center. Before that, Li served in a variety of positions in Volkswagen China, Shang Volkswagen, Beijing Oriental Sky Automotive Investment Company and BBS Kraftfahrzeugtechnik in China from 1994 to 2007.

Born in 1968, Li holds a bachelor's degree in Machinery and Engineering from Beijing Light Industry Institute and Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences Constance, Germany.
