Vasakronan estimates that at least 100 parking spaces for EV:s, including 3-5 quick chargers will be installed during 2015. The expansion will continue in 2016.

"We see this agreement as another sign that we have an outstanding offer together with our partner Garo that is well aligned with our clients' needs. With our turn key charging system companies as Vasakronan can offer their tenants sustainable services for charging electrical cars. This will increase the fleet of electrical cars and hence reduce CO2 emissions and set Vasakronan on the map as the leading sustainable property company. We look forward to a good partnership", says Markus Hökfelt, Manager, Fortum Charge & Drive.

The agreement enables Vasakronan a simple way to operate their charging infrastructure. Smart charging solutions are already becoming a part of the service solutions tenants expect on the commercial property market. Fortum will supply the cloud-based Charge & Drive system, which provides solutions for managing the customer experience, infrastructure and charging business.

The platform is offered as a service for any operator wanting to expand step-by-step with its "pay as you go" business model.

"Charge & Drive helps anyone who wants to offer charging services by getting their stations connected to a full blown business platform. You start with the basic features and can later add more advanced services as needed", says Fortum's Markus Hökfelt.
