MILWAUKEE, WI--(Marketwired - Aug 10, 2016) -  The Master Lock Company, a global leader in security and safety solutions, has announced that it has signed a lease to relocate its global headquarters to a state-of-the-art campus at 6744 Howell Avenue in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The move will accommodate the company's growth of jobs in support of its Master Lock and American Lock brands, as well as the additional SentrySafe jobs brought to the area.

"In the last five years, The Master Lock Company has experienced strong business growth and a 30 percent increase in jobs in the U.S. alone. In 2015, we had net sales of more than $550 million, a 15 percent increase over the prior year. This campus offers significantly more space and other features to support our continued growth and will help us attract the top local talent we need to be successful in the future," said Mike Bauer, president, The Master Lock Company.

The new location in Oak Creek provides The Master Lock Company with significantly more work space and an open floor plan on a 26+ acre campus with two interconnected buildings, walking paths, a 250-person amphitheater, conference rooms featuring leading edge-technology and an on-site cafeteria. It is in close proximity to Oak Creek's significant office and commercial park development initiatives; only 11 miles from downtown Milwaukee; and is conveniently located just three miles from General Mitchell International Airport and an Amtrak Station, and just steps to local public transportation.

The company will take possession of the building this fall and will begin making planned renovations with already-selected design and architect partners. It will be designed with more collaboration areas in order to create an inspiring environment aligned with our corporate values of Integrity, Teamwork & Winning. The expected move will take place in early 2017.
