CEO of FPT Software Hoang Viet Anh gave 30 computers, servers, projectors and other equipment worth VND 650 million to Da Nang University of Technology in order to meet the needs of students on June 12.

The event reaffirms FPT Software's commitment to supporting high quality human resources training in Danang and Central region. Previously, FPT Software also gave a lab worth VND 500 million to Hue University of Sciences.

'From only 400 people at its launch, FPT Software Da Nang now has more than 2,000 employees. This has been added up from IT human resource training centers in Da Nang and the Central region, including Da Nang University of Technology. In 2017, FPT Software Danang will employ about 1,000 people. We expect that students of Da Nang University of Technology will account for 20%,' stated CEO of FPT Software Hoang Viet Anh.

It is expected that by 2020, FPT Software Da Nang offers about 7,000 vacancies. The company is also working closely with major universities in the Central region to train high-quality IT human resources, especially IT human resources with good Japanese language skills.

Over the last three years, FPT Software Danang has been growing at an annual average rate of 50-60%, the number of employees increases from around 400 in 2011 to 2,000 in 2016. Many multi-million dollar projects with giants in the world have been deploying at FPT Da Nang.

FPT Software aims at USD 1 billion in revenue and 30,000 employees by 2020. In particular, FPT Software Danang is expected to contribute 7,000-9,000 people.
