FPT : rank among Nikkei Asia 300 for 3rd consecutive year

On June 15th, the Nikkei Asian Review - the leading media conglomerate in Japan, announced a list of Asia 300 - the most valuable and effective business group in Asia. FPT is the only brand in the Information Technology sector of ASEAN in this list.

This is the 4th consecutive year that FPT has been honoured by Nikkei and the 3rd consecutive year that FPT has been among the Nikkei Asia 300 list.

The Nikkei Asian Review claims that FPT is the largest IT Company in Vietnam with its operations spanning in the major IT and telecom sector, from software development to telecom and IT products. In the field of software development, FPT provides services to many foreign partners, most of which come from the Japanese market.

After four months, FPT's foreign market recorded VND 1,963 billion in revenues, up to 16% and VND 284 billion of tax before profit, up to 15% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to the latest report, in the first four months of 2017, FPT recorded its consolidated sales of VND 12,975 billion, up to 13% compared to the same period of 2016, reaching 104% of the full 4 months. Profit before tax (PBT) reached VND 904 billion, up to 14% over the same period, equivalent to 108% of the cumulative plan. Profit after tax (PAT) reached 759 billion, up to 18% over the same period.

According to the Nikkei Asian Review, Asia 300 is the chosen list of the fastest growing companies from 11 countries in the region. Criteria include business growth, profitability, and financial efficiency.
