On behalf of America’s Best Communities (ABC), a $10 million competition to revitalize small towns and rural communities, Frontier Communications Executive Chairman Maggie Wilderotter congratulated the campaign’s spokesman, Vince Gill, on his induction into Guitar Center’s historic RockWalk. The ceremony honoring the country music legend took place today at Guitar Center's flagship location on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Gill was introduced and welcomed by Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh.

“I can think of no one more deserving of this honor,” said Mrs. Wilderotter. “On behalf of Frontier Communications and all of our ABC partners I extend our deepest congratulations to Vince and thank him for his significant contributions to country music.”

Guitar Center's RockWalk is dedicated to honoring those artists who have made a major impact and contribution to the growth and evolution of music. As the newest RockWalk inductee, Gill's handprints are imprinted on Hollywood Boulevard alongside those of accomplished musicians and innovators such as Eric Clapton, George Martin, Jimmy Page, Iron Maiden, Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Run-D.M.C., Queen and many others.
