Mr. Andrey Murov, head of FGC UES, met with Chief Executives of key utility companies in Vietnam

FGC UES delegation headed by Mr. Andrey Murov visited National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) in Vietnam, where both parties signed a memorandum to set forth the basic approaches and areas of cooperation. Mr. Murov also had a working meeting with Vietnam Electricity 's (EVN) executives and visited some grid infrastructure facilities near Hanoi.

The memorandum was signed by Mr. Andrey Murov, Chairman of the Management Board of FGC UES, and Mr. Vu Ngoc Minh, President and CEO of EVNNPT, in the presence of Mr. Dang Phan Tuong, Chairman - Board of Directors of EVNNPT; Mr. Vyacheslav Kharinov, Trade Representative of Russia in Vietnam; and other members of both parties.

As defined by the parties, the key areas of cooperation are: sharing experience in construction, operation, maintenance and management of power transmission grids, development and professional training of personnel, elaboration of new technologies, technology transfer and supplies of electrical equipment.

The signing was preceded by negotiations in the presence of managerial representatives from FGC UES and EVNNPT.

After that, Mr. Andrey Murov also visited EVN's headquarters, where he had a working meeting with Mr. Ngo Son Hai, Vice President of EVN.

The leaders of the companies agreed to make every effort to bring the memorandum to life in the nearest time.

During the visit, the FGC UES delegation visited the 500kV Thuong Tin substation (operated and managed by EVNNPT).
