Q. What is the basic approach of the new management's plan, and when will it be announced?
A. The priority will be on restoring earnings in the Broadcasting business, along with such measures as strengthening Group content, and improving profitability in core businesses. We will formulate and announce a plan as soon as possible.
Q. What is your policy for future investment in the Urban Development business?
A. We will make investments to expand earnings, but plan to carefully observe the business environment. We expect this segment to provide stable earnings.
Q. What is your thinking regarding Fuji TV's program production costs?
A. We think it's important to manage costs efficiently.
Q. What will be the rolls of the chairman, president, and advisor under the new management system?
A. The new president will take the lead in business execution, with the new chairman providing backup support. The executive managing advisor will serve as the representative for the Fujisankei Communications Group, and support the chairman and president as necessary.
