Fujitsu, a leading provider of business, information technology, and communications solutions, today announced that the Fujitsu MEF-CECP Exam Trainer is now available in the Apple iTunes® App Store. The new MEF-CECP Exam Trainer application is a unique tool for technical professionals in the telecommunications industry to prepare for the MEF Carrier Ethernet Certified Professional exam.

The Fujitsu exam training application features four different quiz modes and hundreds of practice test questions covering all 10 topic areas in the actual exam. The app aids learning by randomizing questions as well as answer selections. When a question is answered incorrectly, the application not only displays the correct answer, but provides an explanation as to why the particular answer is correct.

"We designed this app as a companion study aid to complement our popular MEF-CECP Study Guide published last year," said Ralph Santitoro, Director of Strategic Market Development at Fujitsu and co-author of the MEF-CECP Exam and Study Guide. "As a vendor-neutral exam, the MEF-CECP promotes overall industry understanding of Carrier Ethernet, which is good for the entire ecosystem of buyers and sellers of Carrier Ethernet products and services. Fujitsu's MEF-CECP Exam Trainer can benefit those preparing for the exam whether they self-study using our study guide or attend an MEF-CECP exam preparatory course from an MEF accredited training provider such as Fujitsu."

Fujitsu is committed to providing training options that enable technical professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge of telecommunications technologies, "Knowledge is at the core of everything we do. Acquiring it drives our innovative spirit and applying it propels our commitment to our customers' success," said Greg Manganello, Senior Vice President Services at Fujitsu Network Communications. "Sharing our expertise thru our new Ethernet certification program is just one example of how Fujitsu continues to support the talent development of our customers and partners so they can achieve their goals more efficiently."

The MEF-CECP Exam Trainer can now be downloaded from the iTunes App Store. Fujitsu will also be releasing the Exam Trainer for AndroidTM-based phones and tables in the coming weeks.
