Fujitsu EMEIA
Munich, November 15, 2016 - Aiming to ensure business continuity for customers whose operations are threatened by cyberattacks, Fujitsu is launching a new Cybersecurity business in the Europe, Middle East, India and Africa (EMEIA) region - helping businesses to strengthen their resilience against cyberattacks as part of a new, globally-integrated security offering.
Underlining a company-wide, global focus in providing its customers with early warning, defenses and protection against cyberattacks, Fujitsu will introduce additional global security services in EMEIA. The company aims to safeguard customer assets and underpin business continuity by providing continuous system monitoring to help repel any form of online threat or attack.
Duncan Tait, SEVP and Head of the EMEIA and Americas at Fujitsu, says: 'Security has never been more critical to our customers. Although it is never going to be possible to prevent cyberattacks, we recognize that businesses cannot afford to stop operations because of them. Any form of cyberattack can cause paralysis and loss of reputation, and at worst can completely stop a company from being able to carry out its day-to-day operations. Our enhanced Cybersecurity business is focused on doing whatever it takes to ensure that our customers can maintain business continuity.'
Fujitsu today already provides managed security services from Security Operation Centers (SOC) in the UK, Germany, Finland and Spain. As it boosts its range of Global cybersecurity offerings in the EMEIA region, Fujitsu aims to bring to the EMEIA market a wider range of security solutions currently only available in Japan, and will upgrade its SOCs in the UK and Germany to become Advanced Cyber Threat Centers.
On a global scale, Fujitsu sees security services playing a critical role in supporting its three business pillars of digital services, service platforms, and integration. As it focuses on business continuity for its customers, Fujitsu is committed to accelerating the enhanced framework development of security products and services.
