Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., a leader in innovative technology and front-end solutions will be exhibiting two new currency handling solutions including a suite of new software enhancements for its state-of-the-art Currency Recyclers and Dispensers that will provide attractive solutions to integrators and OEMs who target applications in the retail space. The Fujitsu-branded Cash Box Modules and Currency Vaults as well as 3rd party cash management solutions will be on display in booth number 5805 during the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Annual 2016 Convention & Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, January 17-19, 2016.

The Fujitsu designed vault provides OEMs that sell into the retail and convenience store sectors, an option to procure a UL recognized and life-cycle managed enclosure for cash handling components. Sourcing the vault from Fujitsu will enable OEMs to save development costs and speed time to market for their solutions. The low profile design of the vault and ruggedized slide rails make it an ideal solution for installation under counter or front of store customer facing configurations, as well as back office applications.

Fujitsu will also be demonstrating the concept of a Cash Box Module to provide OEMs a secure and attractive enclosure for multiple currency handling components. In addition to Fujitsu components, it can be designed to support most third party currency devices and a multitude of third-party coin dispensers/recyclers. OEM’s can configure the Cash Box Module in any fashion they choose providing an excellent platform for a number of assisted or self-service retail applications. Additionally, when bundled together with a touchscreen controller and scanner like the recently announced Fujitsu ImpulseTM unit, an OEM could easily create a highly secure, low cost self-checkout solution for Convenience stores. Both the Currency Vault and the Cash Box Module can be white labeled to provide the maximum flexibility for OEMs.

Fujitsu’s Software Control Library is a suite of Fujitsu developed software modules in middleware that facilitates more rapid integration of Fujitsu’s recycler platforms. A simple cash withdrawal, which previously took 150+ lines of software code to execute, can now be executed with one simple, and easy to understand, command. Additional software enhancements like the configuration tool, asset planning tool and ROI analyzer will be exhibited to demonstrate the ease of set-up, installation and on-going monitoring, diagnostics, cash management optimization and efficiency of recyclers in cash management programs. The Fujitsu Software Control Library, cash box module and cash vault are excellent examples of how Fujitsu- value-add enables OEMs to save development costs and go to market faster.

In addition to the Fujitsu vault and cash box module, Fujitsu will be showcasing the Series 7500 Cash Management System by Carrollton, TX-based Revolution Retail Systems, LLC. The Series 7500 improves the visibility of cash in your program by automating cash management while dramatically reducing labor, errors and on site cash. Revolution Retail and the Series 7500 is an excellent example of a Fujitsu value-add partnership. In addition to integrating the Fujitsu G750L bill recycling unit, the Series 7500 also employs the Fujitsu TeamPoS® 7000 All-in-one POS terminal, and the Fujitsu PalmSecure® palm vein biometrics reader for secure user authentication. The full suite of Revolution Retail Systems currency management solutions will also be on display at booth number 3975.

Fujitsu’s entire product family of OEM currency handling products have the quality, reliability, and advanced feature functionality required to offer true value-add and control the up-front design and recurring product support / maintenance cost. Fujitsu offers OEM currency dispensers like the F50, F53, F56, F400, F510, and bulk currency acceptors and currency recyclers like the G60, G610/611, and the G750L , for a wide range of budget, volume and configuration requirements.
